I took these photos two days ago in Rockaway when I went to volunteer with a friend.

Please, if you have any free time, consider going out to any towns that have been badly affected by hurricane sandy. While the number of donations coming in is really wonderful, who knows how long it will take for these people to rebuild their lives. They need hands on help. Something as simple as walking from house to house asking if there’s anything you can do to help out really does make a difference.
